Frequently Asked Questions

Where is your counseling practice located?

Do you offer in person or telehealth online sessions?

We are a faith-informed clinical practice. That means we are trained to integrate faith where it’s appropriate and invited by the client. We also bring a philosophical robustness to how we understand the human person, rooted in a coherent vision of what people are, what they’re for, and what healing should look like. Our approach rests on the conviction that these deeper questions shape the work of healing itself… see more on our What We Believe page.

What mental health issues do you treat?

Our licensed therapists provide evidence-based narrative and attachment therapy in a proactive private pay model of care concerned with human formation, resilience, and flourishing. We work best with clients who, for a return on your health and flourishing, are willing to face, in the present moment, the very thing that brings you distress. Much of the meaningful work people bring to us—discernment, grief, vocational and spiritual struggle, relational repair, preventing or recovery from burnout, spiritual abuse recovery, to name a few—doesn't fit a medical model frame, and we don't think it should have to. If you are wondering if one of our providers is competent to see you when you have received or would like to clarify a specific diagnosis, feel free to reach out and ask. You may also get an idea by visiting Joel or Kaley’s about pages.

What does therapy cost? Do you take insurance?

If we are a fit, don’t let finances dissuade your interest. See our costs and insurance page for more information.
