EMDR Intensives
Article on how EMDR works: https://www.emdria.org/about-emdr-therapy/
Sessions don’t have to be 60 minutes. In EMDR research, 90-minute sessions are more effective minute-for-minute. Half-day or full-day intensives can also increase effectiveness by eliminating the session introduction and the need to tolerate emotional distress between sessions while a memory is in process. Research indicates memories take an average of 3-5 60-minute sessions. Consolidating multiple sessions into an intensive session can reduce the time taken to resolve emotions at the conclusion of each session.
Couple Counseling
Cultivate authentic intimacy in couple therapy. You and your partner are writing a story, but are you on the same page? Engage each other with compassionate curiosity and weave your lives together with courage and creativity. Pre-marital and pre-engagement counseling also available.
Family Counseling
Synergize. Most of us would like to think that our family members are those to whom we are most vulnerable, loyal, and loving. In reality, they may also be those with whom we feel the greatest confusion, insecurity, frustration, or betrayal. Working with the whole system allows all parties to first-hand present their strengths and growth areas and come to experience true collaboration. Not every family member is required to be present at every session, and if certain parties are not yet interested in synergy we can go ahead and start. Discuss who and when each family member may be included in different sessions by scheduling a consult today!
Group Counseling
Healing rarely happens in isolation. Some of the most profound shifts occur not in a therapist's office alone, but in the presence of others who understand — people who have carried similar weights, wrestled with similar questions, and are willing to show up honestly.
Our groups offer a structured, therapeutically guided space where shared experience becomes a catalyst for growth. Whether you are working to regulate emotions, deepen your understanding of how you connect with others, or begin recovering from religious harm, group therapy offers something individual work cannot: the lived experience of being known in community.
